In a previous thread I had mentioned that a GFE I received was way off the mark from what I received in an initial worksheet. I talked to the loan officer and he confirmed that the numbers were incorrect. He gave me some new figures by phone and said there were a couple "gray areas" that he needed to get more info on and that he would call me on Monday. Monday came and went and I didn't hear from him. I sent him an email at the end of the day Monday but I still haven't heard a thing. Closing is tentatively scheduled for August 30th. When should I expect to receive another GFE? If the numbers don't line up as they said he would, I'll have to make other living arrangements and I can't wait until the last minute. I realize I'm not the only applicant he has to deal with and I don't want to be labeled a pain, but I'm frustrated.

I would suggest you contact this lender and speak to the loan officers boss and demand a updated GFE now. If they cant, get a new lender.
