Do any of you have a Indy Mac mortgage? My mortgage started with Quicken but was acquired by IndyMac about a year ago. So far I have not gotten one single letter or phone call about the FDIC takeover.
You may not get one either... everything should stay the same on your mortgage. You keep paying it until (if it happens) your loan gets sold to another servicer. It would be nice for IndyMac to inform all their clients about the situation, but I think they are too busy trying to cover themselves to worry about customer service.

I have a property w/IndyMac (formerly my primary residence, mortgage was initially w/Chase which later sold to IndyMac). I've also not received any coorespondence; I'll keep sending payment as usual until I'm notified otherwise. I must say it is strange to intiate a payment to a "payee" that is no longer in business.
Everything is exactly the same. You'll get a statement exactly the same as you've been getting in the past. I always paid my mortgage online, and that is set up exactly the same way as well.

My case exatly, but if you go to their website it tells you to keep making those payments as usual until further notice. This seems to really only be a big concern for those who have deposit accounts over the insured limits with IndyMac.
