Does anyone have any ins at CW to get a file moving?

Mortgage broker has had the deal for 28 days and claims there's no way for them to close by next Friday, because the appraisal had to undergo review.

Appraisal is probably 50-75K OVER selling price.

Seller is an asset manager and isn't interested in any more excuses from the buyer. Mortgage broker claims they have no control over CW (I hear that!).

How can I push this from my end? I have 3 other people that will jump in and buy this if it falls apart, but that doesn't seem to make anyone want to move this along.

Help!

Good Luck - Countrywide right now is one of the worst to deal with.

In my office we have a Short Sale Specialist who has ins at Country Wide. She is amazing and has a 96% close rate. I always use her on my short sale transactions.

I waited over 100 days from a "yes" from CW. During that time I would get email updates from CW through my realtor about apprasial being done, different negotiators, stage II people, and the investors.
