We have intent on purchasing a home:however, the home we want is currently under contract...we've heard that the buyer is in the process of refinancing their current home with intent on getting a loan for the home under contract...what are our chances of getting this home?...by the way we are pre-qualified for to purchase this home...thanks
Does the buyer who is currently in contract have a "bump clause" on their contract? Or is the home a short sale, with a clause for the seller to back out at any time prior to 3rd party approval? Or some other way for the seller to get out of the deal? If not, they are in contract, and the seller can't bump the current buyer as long as they perform as the contract is written. Your agent needs to ask the listing agent that question.
no agents...we are dealing with the seller and he and other buyer have placed under contract...basically off market until the other buyer can get a loan...we are just waiting...fingers crosses
