My excellent loan officer just locked me 5.375% 0 pt on FHA. While processing said ah you have a middle score of 796. I said wow but not sure if credit was a factor in the rate. I know for convensional but FHA everything I read says it just a cutoff of 620. I want to say this a thousands times: Go with referal when you go for loans.

It helps maybe for qualifying but not for a better interest rate.
