Like the ones who watch violence(which I do to sometimes) all the time like horror and those ghetto-type movies that are exaggerated and you those people a movie(like Scent Of A Woman) that they can learn from and is meaningful alongwith being funny, and those people call it "boring". Now how in the world they can call movies that have some short of a message "boring" when they don't know anything about movies themselves? It's a shame that today most people forgot what a movie really is.

Times change. My grandpa would only watch westerns or black and whites. My mom will only watch movies like lifetime. My dad only likes black and whites. I personally dont like black and whites or westerns but prefer newer movies. To each his own.

And what is a movie, in your defintion? It's just entertainment to me. Like anything else, it may be high minded or low minded.

The very first movie I remember watching was Full Metal Jacket when I was four or five. I'm twenty now and can't stand most movies that come out these days. The majority of DVD's in my collection are films that were made decades ago. There are some exceptions, however.
