Had one last night..I watched Ace Ventura, Cable guy, liar liar, And Yes man.

His older stuff i think is better..The Cable Guy I think was the best. It was comedy with dark overtones, The scene where he beats up Owen Wilson posing as a bathroom attendant was hilarious and a bit chilling. "Yes man" was not very good though.

Anyone think his older stuff was much better?

I practically grew up with Jim Carrey, from the time I was a little kid watching In Living Color on TV, then Dumb & Dumber, Liar Liar, The Mask, and of course Ace Ventura. I love his films. Very nostalgic. I imagine it's how old farts feel when watching Jerry Lewis movies.

Once Bitten is one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies.

Once Bitten (1985) - YouTube

I'm kind of obsessed with 80's movies.

I can only deal with Jim Carrey in small doses. He's overrated and extra to me.

Speaking of The Truman Show, did anyone else notice how it actually came true...so many shows these days about everyday people's lives, following them around...Kim Kardashian, Kate Gosselin and so many others....but none of them beats or even comes close to The Truman Show still !!
