I vaguely remember a movie that I have been looking for the title of for some time and can not seem to hit the right string of search words to bring up the right title. I remember it followed the life of a man from when he was young till he was and senior citizen. As a young man/teenager he collected all kinds of things like comic books, pennies, beer steings, and old car like a dusenberg. For some reason he ended living alone in the desert with his stuff to finally decide at the end of his life to movie back home maybe. Running out of gas in the crazy car in a city gas station a woman rolls down the window of her lime to offer to buy the beer stein stacked on the pile of stuff stacked beverly hillbillies style on his car. He believes she is paying ten dollars to receive a check for ten thousand.

Thats all I remember, any help would be appericated.
