For the overseas boxoffice it isn't a contest. Iron Man 3 is ahead of the closest runner up by 46%
$806.4 Iron Man 3
$551.0 Despicable Me 2
$550.0 Fast & Furious 6
$475.1 Monsters University
$426.3 Thor: The Dark World
$400.0 The Croods
$398.7 Gravity
$393.6 The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

But the Hunger Games is only $7.5 million behind Iron Man 3 for the same release time (5 weeks) in domestic box office. I would like to see Jennifer Lawrence pull off the #1 domestic movie for 2013 at the same time as she is nominated for the Oscar for the 3rd time.

If not, I suppose a #2 box office is not so terrible.
