Just saw the SBSP movie. WOW! That movie was a freaking trip. If you are a kid hyped up on sugar or someone else tripping on drugs watch out (I was neither)! It was so fast and wild and crazy. Most the time I was laughing because I was thinking "what the hell?". I never really watched much of the actual show but now I kinda want to. I thought the scenes on land were weaker than the pure animation scenes. As I was watching it I kept wondering if it was too adult for kids (because of there was a portion of the film that was pretty dark). I'd recommend it if you want to see a pretty silly and fun movie. I would give it 7.5/10 stars.
Have you seen it? If so what did you think? If not do you have any interest in seeing it?
I saw the original Sponge Bob move in theaters when I was into Sponge Bob and it regularly had new shows but like the Pokemon movie, the movie miles it for me. It looks liknd of funny but I'll wait for the library for the movie.
Friend took her 7 yrs old son, his 4 yr old sister, and an older boy friend or two--
thought it was awful but said kids liked it--
just totally bizare that Antonio Bandaras was in it--
Sounds like a blast, but, I'll probably wait for the dvd, maybe, unless someone pulls my arm and decides they want to go see it. More than likely, I'll be renting it, but, still looking forward to it, I'm a fan of SB and the nuttiness.
I've always enjoyed the cartoon. I loved the first movie. But this movie was a complete waste of time and money. It had one laugh.
