Saw this one last night....One worth checking out. No down time, flowed nicely. More importantly, it humanized mental illness, where I think everyone will recognize someone in their lives by one of the characters in the movie. This was Robert DiNero's roll, OCD obsessed football fan. Surely we all know someone like him?

Go see it. Leave the kids at home unless they are mature teens.

Thoughts, anyone that has seen it?

Default Loved loved it

Saw it today. Loved the whole thing and didn't want it to end. Very good movie and helped open up mental illness somewhat. Deniro is tops in my book.

I saw it last night.
There were some scenes where I wanted to close my eyes (embarrassed for them), but the previous posters are right. It did a great job of portraying and humanizing people who have these kinds of problems. And the casting was superb!

I walked out very glad I'd watched it.

I just daw it a few hours ago, and enjoyed every minute of it; Bradley Cooper & Jennifer Lawrence were exceptional, and so was DeNiro, and the script was wonderful as well.

Multiple Oscar nominations would appear to be in the cards, and certainly for director David O. Russell, who directed Christian Bale & Melissa Leo to Oscars for their standout supporting roles in 'The Fighter'.

Yes, I agree the ending could have been better, and maybe they should have ended it when he is chasing her down the street. LOL

Have been thinking about seeing this mostly for Jennifer Lawrence. I loved Winters Bone and thought she was good in Hunger Games. Sometimes I like to just follow an actor to watch them develop.

I saw this one as well and I was struck by how well cast the film was down to the various supporting actors and actresses.

This was an absolutely great movie. Best one of the year so far. Definitely going to be a hit at the Oscars. The book is great as well.

I agree with the movie being good, I really liked it, but I disagree with how everything is labelled as a mental disorder nowadays. I may think some people do weird things that make no sense or maybe I do things that make no sense, but I hate how everything is labelled now because it gives people an excuse to use meds and be a victim instead of dealing with life like the older generations did.

I also thought it was terrific, and I'd expect several Oscar nominations.
