Oh, I LOVED that movie! I didn't think it was goofy, though. Maybe I need to watch it again, because I remember I watched it a few times back then myself.

Yeah, it's more of a comedy of errors, I guess. Like Noises Off! with Christopher Reeves, Carol Burnett, Michael Caine, etc. Love that one, too! Don't speak, don't speak LOL.
Who's Minding the Mint? comes to mind; just a good screwball comedy with a nice collection of personalities -- and some bitingly-good "social commentary" from time to time.
