And all the black folks will be pure good while all the white folks are pure evil just like these movies always are. Uplifting modern day music blah blah blah
Plus the writer and main actor that's making millions very very likely took part in a gang rape at penn state, avoiding prison, the other guy got sent up river. Penn state paid the victim and a few years ago she killed herself.
I just hope that if this movie starts picking up awards (Oscars, etc), it won't be done as a way to ameliorate the whole race controversy from earlier this year.

Spewing nonsense. Not only was Nate Parker acquitted (with this record, where do you get off writing that Parker "very very likely" took part in a gang rape?), but the man who was convicted had his conviction overturned on appeal. So, we have an acquitted man having his name dragged through the dirt? Doesn't sound very fair to me.
Moving along, I actually saw the movie last night and was impressed by the acting; some parts were very tough to watch, though. It was a good movie overall, but I don't quite know if its Oscar worthy. Just my two cents.
