Remember Rampage? It was a classic Midway arcade game (perhaps the greatest arcade game) where you got to bash cities to rubble while playing as a giant gorilla, lizard or wolf. (Let's be real though: No one wanted to play as the wolf.)
Well, Warner Bros. is turning it into a movie starring Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, directed by Johnson's San Andreas director Brad Peyton.
Love The Rock. He has great instagram posts too! Corny or not.. I'll watch it. I'm looking forward to Skyscraper.
Last yr he was the highest paid actor but he got displaced this yr by Mark Wahlberg.
What do you mean by these days? He has been up for anything since he alternated between good and bad as a wrestler. It has been a while since he has done a critically acclaimed supporting role in someone else's movie

Dwayne Johnson was initially hailed as the next Schwarzenneger. He may still be, but Ahnuld had the good fortune of being in some blockbuster movies from very good directors early in his career, which made him a superstar. Dwayne Johnson has yet to do that. He's been in some fun action/comedy flicks, but he has yet to be in a truly spectacular movie.
This is the Hollywood popcorn movie I am most excited to see this year! I grew up obsessively playing the "Rampage World Tour" game on PS1 when I was a kid, so there is NO WAY I'm gonna give this a pass, regardless of the reviews! I wouldn't doubt it that there are other peeps born in the 1970s (those who grew up with the arcade original like the Rock himself), or the 1980s (those who got acquainted to it thanks to PS1 and other similar consoles) who feel like I do here! LOL! :P
