For years, ever since the eighties as a matter of fact, I've been wondering what would happen if the space alien monster from Alien was pitted against the space alien monster from Predator. Well, somebody must have read my mind, because on DVD I'll be able to soon purchase the epic film depicting such an event. OMG, can you imagine?! It will be these two monsters from different movies, fighting each other in the same movie! It's like, no way! This is almost as good as Luke Skywalker vs. Captain Kirk. OMG! BTW, if anybody from Hollywood is reading this, I've recently started a screenplay for Cylons vs. Stormtroopers, and another one for Blue Thunder vs. Airwolf vs. KITT vs. the mars rover that tried to kill Steve Austin, so call me and we'll work something out.

Ummm, welcome to 2008, this movie has been on DVD for about 3 years, the movie itself is about 4 years old and has made the HBO/Cinimax circuit many times already. Think I saw it on commercial TV as well.

It's good, not great, suffers from the sacrifices it made to make it a PG-13 movie. An alien or predator film with PG-13? Nope, doesn't work. I think I heard they were making a sequel.

I loved AVP, but I didn't like the Alien movies or the Predator movies. I am excited for it.
