Today I guess is the 50th anniversary of the crash that killed Buddy Holly, Big Bopper and Ricky can't spell his last name. Alittle before me but good songs. America Pie wrote about these men

Someone started a similar thread in Music.

Don MacLean/American Pie--love that song/album but never got around to seeing the film.

One of my major achievements last year was to build a collection of memorable music--I need to add Buddy Holley and several others.

Thought I would throw in that in Lubbock TX, hometown of Buddy Holly, the street next to Buddy Holly Avenue is "Cricket" avenue. Nice. Thanks city council of Lubbock.
