The Command (2018), story of the Russian Oscar II sub Kursk. Not bad.

In a Valley of Violence (2016)

I really liked this one. I love when humor is injected at times in which it doesn't belong. I hadn't even heard of this being a role for Travolta. He was perfect in this, and it was great to see him play a really good character again. I think he stole it. Some great characters and acting overall, though. There are some scenes of pretty graphic violence, as the title suggests.

"The Talented Mr. Ripley" 1999 Anyone remember this one? How' did you like it??

Always wanted to see this psychological thriller film , but it somehow slipped by me throughout all these years.

Bizarre, but filmed beautiful cinematography.

I love a good story that doesn't include Cell Phones and texting.

All star cast and Matt Damen as Tom Ripley.
There are many layers to Tom Ripley and as the movie grinds on each layer has its own twist. He's poor. Now he's rich. He's gay. He's a murderer. He's depressed. He's in love. He's talented. I end up actually feel compassion for him despite his dark nature.

Philip. Seymour. Hoffman.

Never have I cringed so much from a character. I liked watching it, but not sure I'll ever watch it again. But I do recommend it.

The Lighthouse (2019), Robert Eggers - 10/10. Reminded me of Béla Tarr's The Trojan Horse.

I love tidbits like this. And Jack....
