Four Weddings and a Funeral ( just about anything with Hugh Grant in fact)
Bridget Jones' diary
Love actually
Most things with Jim Carrey
Anything with Adam Sandler ( except "The Wedding Singer")
There's something about Mary
Meet the Fockers
Night at the Museum
Monty Python ( I can literally count the lines I find funny in all the TV programmes and films)
Anything with Ricky Gervais
The 40 year old Virgin
Many of Woody Allen's comedies ( some are great the others dreadful)
Anything with Matthew Mc Conaughey
All of the American Pie
Porky's
Almost anything with Chevy Chase
Anything with Russel Brand in it
Anything with Jerry Lewis
Anything with Benny Hill
Most "romantic comedies"
Generally speaking I don't like Farce ( there are exceptions) and prefer social or political satires or the absurd. I am constantly amazed at how funny people think sex, "gross" and scatological jokes are. To me that is scrapping the bottom of the barrel .
Humour for the back of the bike shed to me. when you're 8 to me...

I know so many people who think Monty Python is some sort of comedic god, but I ....dont get it????? Maybe its British humor and I am not sophisticated enough??
I am not a fan of overly sexual, crude, gross out comedies...the worst was Good Luck Chuck. I dont think I even made it through the whole movie. I do however like most of Will Ferrel's movies especially Old School & Night at the Roxbury. LOVED Napoleon Dynamite! "I think I'll build her a cake or something."
And Bridget Jones' Diary. Not funny, amusing, cute, sweet, engaging or entertaining in the least.
I am so glad I am not the only one to think "Bridget Jones" was way over-hyped... I just did not get what the fuss was at all. It wasn't funny, clever, romantic, cute or fun in the slightest to me either.
Yeah I feel the same way about Jim Carey. I loved The Mask when I was growing up but now I can't watch it.
I have never cared for Jim Carey. I just don't find him the least bit funny. Everyone else seems to think he is a hoot. I'm glad to find somebody, Nat, who feels like I do about him.
