Johann Heinrich Füssli (Chopin - Etude in C Minor, Op 10 No 12), Beethoven Sonata Op 57 "Appassionata" Mov3
Ms. Iphigeneia, I'm going this morning to look at the sunrise and write my sweetheart a letter since we're courting a more sensitive affection, is it called?, between us. It's different delaying that instant gratification impulse; so no texting between us and cell calls only in emergencies. We're also using emails but only as invitations to events.
I'm feeling all kinds of NEW feelings and this got me wondering if all this technology has taken something intangible away from just being human and falling in love.
Chopin best describes my feelings this morning. Passionate for life--Passionate for MY life to begin today and not lay around watching TV or waiting around for something to happen.
Johann Heinrich Füssli (Chopin - Etude in C Minor, Op 10 No 12)
Since you might not check out other threads, (Goth) I brought this over for you to check out. Why do the Social engineers work? Tearing down our culture, promoting attitudes that tear down our people's will and ambition for themselves? Becoming a robot of petty schoolkid impulses--grown people I mean. I want better for myself, for my life, for my emotions and just being a human being. I looked at pictures of my great-grandfather and thought would he be proud of what I'm becoming and knew hell no.
That what was passing as manhood these days would disgust him, and he treated my great-grandmother and grandmother right. Treated his family with dignity and everybody around him regardless of where they stood on the socio-economic ladder. So that's why I want more for my life even if what passes today for adult is to have trashy insides and the humor of 3 year olds. I want my great-grandfather's brand of MANHOOD.
So you've inspired me Ms. Iphigeneia just like my new girlfriend and I for one am happy you even mentioned my name! It feels GOOD to be called Mr. and know I DESERVE IT! A Good Day to you Ms.
