I live in the coastal deep south--that's pretty much what much of north Florida is.
One band from around here makes what they call Front Porch Soul.
They are funky, they are country crackers, they are southern.
I was not born any of those things, but I have learned to embrace a lot of them.
I couldn't think of one song that describes both me and where I live so I separated the two themes...
When trying to think of a song that describes me I thought no one song could describe me because I change too often. Then I thought well maybe I should just post a song that says exactly that. I am in the process of changing my life and my mood changes every day so this song is perfect.
As to where I live, this video looks as though it was shot in my area or very near here. It is exactly like where I live right down to the fields of purple flowers that are actually a weed but look very pretty the are called Riverina Blue Bell but are known as Patterson's Curse.
