I personally like the song, nice chord changes, major to minor, etc...
also features a "fade in" , very innovative.
Ticket To Ride ....wow ....love it ...I have to retune my guitar always to play to the record...
Beatles played it in A ...slowed down to about A flat....to give it a heavier, hazy feel.
Love Ringo's drum beat, short guitar solos by Paul (not George).
What the World Needs Now ....a classic ...written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David,
Dionne Warwick turned it down....so Jackie DeShannon recorded it and had a big hit.
Notice no Rolling Stones "Satisafaction" on the list ....didn't make number 1 in Canada?
Far superior to "Get Off My Cloud".

Yes "Satisfaction" is the Stones' signature song, hough played to death yet iconic. As for the Beatles, I voted for "Ticket To Ride".
Gary Lewis had good songs, but this one was not one of them. Their U.S number one "This Diamond Ring" is far superior.
Petula Clark got my vote twice, two knockout songs from her.
Georgie Fame's "Yeh Yeh" got my vote after I gave it a listen, a forgotten sixties tune.
Herman's Hermits cover of Sam Cooke got my vote, as did Righteous Brothers, Chad Allen, Jackie Deshannon(that song actually suits Dionne Warwick's voice well), Tom Jones, Toys, Fortunez(hey had another good song, "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again", and Little Anthony And The Imperials.
I like Gerry and The Pacemakers, but that song was weak and so could not get my vote.
