The TV show Lost. I think it wins the shortest "theme" ever.
THIS!!! How could it be any shorter than Lost? Some have argued that it is a "sound" and not an actual theme but it was composed for and performed by an orchestra. If that doesn't count as theme music, I don't know what does.
