I don't listen to that genre. I have no doubt those folks are talented, but they do nothing for me.

I would've gone with Thom Yorke or Rob Dickinson.

Yeah, I love rock just not 90s rock. Their voices just sound to weird to me. I'm more of a Led Zep,Pink Floyd, Hendrix, and Beatles guy.

But 90s singers for me would have to be Sade,Maxwell,Lauren hill and Rapheal Saadiq

I was a Beatles/Kinks/Floyd guy myself.

OK, I could understand not liking Radiohead with that in mind. But I'm surprised Catherine Wheel didn't float your boat a little.

Here's Rob doing "Heal" with the band.

And solo, where his voice really shines, especially toward the end.

Granted, a guy like him would never win "The Voice" or "America's Got Talent", but vocal perfection is not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for the soul within the performance.

A great voice is a great voice. Doesn't matter the genre. I can appreciate any voice that's full of passion and intensity but even soft and beautiful works. Many of the singers mentioned fit that (except Floptina).
