I still buy cds more than anything else, cuz not only do I want the music on my phone and mp3 player, but I want to have it in my car as well. I do listen to Pandora alot when Im home, but I also spend alot of time in my car and it only has a cd player in it, so the few times I have downloaded music, it gets burned to a cd right way so I can rip it to my phone and mp3 player but also have a copy for the car.

I agree, I've only had my first car with a CD player for about a year now (hey! I drive old cars ) but being able to bring my own music is a good thing
I only wish CDs came packaged in old LP style jackets, I still have lots of vinyl and like the artwork, liner notes, etc., always liked being able to read who played what on any given track along with other notes about the recording/artist(s).
I'll still buy CDs of bands that I really like such as GnR, Stones, Beatles and 80s hair bands like Tesla, Crüe, Cinderella. Lately though I've started purchasing iTunes songs at 99 cent or $1.29 a pop. Usually when I get paid I'll get a $15 iTunes card and get about a dozen new songs. There's advantages this way, no scratched cds, can play them anytime, anywhere. I'll also load up on freebies getting a YouTube playlist going.
I hear most people these days either download songs or album or stream their music through YouTube/Pandora.
I still own a lot of CDs but I also have a Spotify subscription. Does anyone else still own or buy CDs? What about cassettes or records?
I look for it on youtube and use a youtube to mp3 converter and download it to Itunes Theres a website I use as well. U just click on download and it downloads it to your computer. Nothing like how Limewire worked before lol
I use Youtube and If I find myself going back to a certain song often I'll download it on Itunes. I haven't bought a CD in years. I used to stream music on Pandora but I no longer have unlimited data plan on my phone. I use it if I'm on WiFi.
I've been a member of emusic for years. Great place to find indie labels. I'm just wondering what to do with my 600 CDs. Man are they a pain to store and move with.
I haven't bought a CD in about 4 years. Even 4 years ago I was hardly buying CDs anymore. In fact I haven't been a regular buyer of CDs in at least 10 years. I download everything. I just like that I can choose only what I want from an album and not have to pay for the whole thing. Physical clutter has a lot to do with it as well as I don't like a lot of extra stuff around.
