While looking for something else I ran across this clip and wondered who knows someone who makes/plays/writes/volunteers who has an interesting story to the rest of us is unknown.

Still Fiddling In the Ozarks (she makes me smile!)

I'm not sure I understand the question B4U.
Do I know of any unknown musicians?

That's a wonderful clip. She's also from the same area where Levon Helm (The Band) grew up.

My sister and brother-in-law live about 60 miles from Yellville. Every Saturday night a lot of the older people get together and play hillbilly (I don't what else to call it) music, with home-made fiddles, mandolins, etc. There's an honest-to-god treasure trove of music in that area. I am excited to go back there and I'll get to sit in on some of those sessions. Might be worth documenting some of those people's history and road, as they say.

B4U, I found Levon Helm's autobiography very interesting with regard to the musical history of that region. You might like it.

In answer to your question, I don't know of any of these musicians personally.

It's a fascinating subject though.

Not sure if this qualifies, but there is this opera singer trying to win Americas Got Talent. She is battling back from Cancer. She should've been discovered a long time ago. She is amazing.
