This can be from any genre, but preferably in rock and a song that is well-known.

Mine are:

Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin
Black Magic Woman - Santana
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd

Uriah Heeps Salisbury Album has Mick Box doing 3 separate segments of a guitar solo in the title song.
starts at 11;30 into the song.Really captures the guitar genre of the time.

What is your favorite guitar solo of all time?

Well you seriously read my mind.
As I was driving, w/ the following song cranked all the way up-
I was thinking how it's gotta be one of my top favorite guitar jams ever....

One of those songs you have to listen to all the way through

Still "Comfortably Numb" for me, specifically this version, captured on the Pulse tour, all 5-3/4 uncut minutes of its gloriousness.

I've tried to find better, even among artists/guitarists I've enjoyed more than Floyd, but haven't found it yet.
