Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree - The Andrew Sisters. I loved the way they performed this.

I voted for Simple Minds while giving Blue Oyster Cult and the Animals some really serious consideration. And here's my favorite that didn't make the list.

Not on the list....I Don't Know Why....Stevie Wonder (1968)
I love that song, Stevie gets really into to it, The Rolling Stones loved the song too,
They recorded their version in 1969, not released until 1975.

Don't Fear the Reaper ....classic, strange thing is it is the only Blue Oyster Cult
that most people have heard, including me, probably their other songs are heavier?

Rikki Don't Lose that Number.... Steely Dan....in a class by itself.

I Don't Know ....Ozzy....love it!.....from Blizzard of Oz Album (1980).

Not familiar with the Stevie song, but I do like some early Stevie so I will check it out!

Two other BOC songs get radio play on classic rock stations, though neither are as frequently played as Don't Fear the Reaper. Those two are "Godzilla" (my all time favorite BOC song) and "Burnin' for You".
