I think medication from so many plastic surgeries contributed to his medical problems. He was a troubled individual, his face no longer looked human.
RIP Pete Burns. Certainty had an influence on the glam and darkwave scene, his group had some good songs. He did go very far with the surgeries and was having a lot of issues overall in recent years.

Where did you get that Pete was a transsexual??? He simply altered his facial appearance in a drastic way through plastic surgery. But he remained as a male. As you can see, he died named "Pete Burns" not "Petra Burns" or whatever.

I may not agree with Pete Burns' lifestyle and decisions. I will say he is a good vocalist who sings on many great songs. "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" is constantly refreshing for listening.
I remember my older sister having a Dead or Alive poster on her bedroom wall.
