Sounded as good as all of the English synth-pop bands, but they were actually from Sacramento, CA. They looked English too.

Adele is English but her songs sound very American (pronunciation). She even pronounces "water" like an American. I seriously wonder if she purposely sang her songs like that!!! I've heard plenty of her songs and I hear no English pronunciation in them at all.

But you can clearly hear that Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding are English because of their pronunciation!

Vampire Weekend. Been hearing songs of this band here and there for about 8 years or so. Thought they wre British until just now when I looked up more info on the band.
