Usually I post a poll with this but they are so many truly awful Christmas songs that this year I decided to just do a free for all.

So, I'm a bit R&B motown lover. unfortunately some of our greatest soul musicians made the worst Christmas carols.

#1 on my hit list is James Brown's "Santa claus go straight to the ghetto". It's just God awful.
#2 is The Christmas shoes. lol because nothing says celebrate the birth of Christ like a depressing song of a kid buying expensive shoes so his mom will look good when she sees Jesus.

What holiday songs make you want to stick a pencil in your ears every time you hear them?

Last Christmas. Possibly the most boring song ever written.

All of them unless they were written by John Lennon or King Diamond. Carols are boring, secular songs are worse.

Less than taken with:

Jingle Bells "performed" by barking dogs. Irritating, grating. Funny the first time you hear it, though.
The Christmas Song (Alvin and the Chipmunks). See above.
Wonderful Christmas Time (Paul McCartney and Wings). Sappy and dumb.
Do They Know It's Christmas? (Band Aid). Let's help the heathen and convert them at the same time.
All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth. Nothing says the holidays like a trip to the dentist.
Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. Except having an elderly relative killed/injured.
