Was anybody here into the band Squeeze? Back in the 80's i listened to them often. Then they broke up and i believe one or more of the members released a solo cd that to this day i cant find anywhere!

Black Coffee in bed was one of their well known songs!

Their 80's stuff was better. One of the guys played a solo show in Philadelphia at a small venue called the Tin Angel and he invited everybody outside to walk the streets. My friend was there. He walked down 2nd street with his guitar and invited the audience to follow him as he played a song on his acoustic guitar. This caused quite a stir as you can imagine.

Another band I saw a lot of back in the 80s! Back when you could get into a show for $15 or less.

Check out Jools Holland [Squeeze keyboards] He`s gone on to bigger things than most with his R n` B orchestra. I`ve all his albums. The `Small World, Big Band` albums are excellant. He gathers other artists together to do the vocals on some classics...
P.S,,,Gilson Lavis [Squeeze drummer] is also part of the band,,,,

I can tell you that the song 'Tempted By The Fruit of Another' is one of my most hated songs of all time. But 'Cool For Cats' is awesome. I bought the 'Cool For Cats' album for $1.99 but I haven't listened to it yet.
