Some days it don't come hard
Some days it don't come at all, and these are the days that never end
Some nights you're breathing fire
Some nights you're carved in ice
Some nights you're like nothing I've ever seen before or will again"

I agree with Sir MCC about this point: As humans we can promise many things that we may not be able to accomplish due to situations beyond our control. Also, with each passing year most adults receive more responsibility, be it their work, family responsibilities, community and/or church obligations or any combination of those different areas of life. Additionally, our physical bodies change as well as our emotional honesty and depth to understand another better.

Standing up slowly and looking at those who are listening I see so much desire to understand more from those brought together by their love of music and learning.

What one promises at a younger age may be a promise fulfilled, but not in the ways one envisioned it earlier in life. Nonetheless, the difficulties of life together can increase the love a couple has for each other, especially if the basic promises of fidelity and always loving the other person are kept by both spouses. When Meat Loaf sings the following words:

"Anything for love
And I'll be there until the final act
I would do anything for love, and I'll take a vow and seal a pact"

To me, "taking the vow and sealing pact" means the the male does marry the female and vice versa. Vows are pledged by two people not just one in a relationship that lasts.

Tis my personal view that when one finds his/her true companion, the love between them cannot be broken regardless of the obstacles. That does not imply by being so in love with the other person the journey will be easy.

"Some days I pray for silence
Some days I pray for soul
Some days I just pray to the god of sex and drums and rock 'n' roll
Some nights I lose the feeling
Some nights I lose control
Some nights I just lose it all when I watch you dance and the thunder rolls"

The dialogue between the two in this song ask questions to ensure past experiences and lessons learned will not be forgotten during the good times and those which are more difficult.

She asks:

"Will you hold me sacred? Will you hold me tight?
Can you colourise my life, I'm so sick of black and white?
Can you make it all a little less old?"

He answers:

"I can do that
Oh no, I can do that"

I walk softly toward the door feeling tired~

From somewhere in the back of the room a soft voices gently sings,

Anything for love, I would do anything for love

MSR
:: Stands quickly giving a passionate clap of
approval... other do as well... the applause
grows and grows... for it's then that it is seen
the whole courtyard is filled with people from
residences near and far... others have traveled
many days to enter such a journey... the whole
seaboard in fact has benefitted from the excursion...

comes forward to escort MSR ... smiles and states ::

In such a journey among us... never consider
mistakes for it is the need to promote the group
that governs all actions... individuality no longer
exist at least for a time... we entered an adventure
as a group... enjoy the times of rest and the
times when the horses must fly down the road...

An advancement... a recognition of a wrong turn
does not a mistake make... now.. if we had
continued down the path then the community
suffers but our community was enlightened...

It allowed us to strengthen bonds we have in
common... and before one another... there
is only the recognition of the community's
growth... one member then another will
always be moved to bring something to
the fore...

:: directs your attention to the many grateful
faces still clapping their approval... smiles...
then gives a flourished bow... as the song shakes
the rafters... rings high and true thru the valley::

"Anything for love, I would do anything for love"

We are now indeed at our end... Bravo!!

Thank you for your kindness and wisdom, MMC.
~ Lessons learned....thoughts exchanged among many~

Indeed we are nearing our end................
but, there is a loud noise breaking through the lovely voices.
Such a unique sound seems so familiar now.

The singing changes to chants of "Encore, Encore."

Clapping of hands has now changed to the rhythym of the chorus of
"I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)"

Suddenly, a large motorcycle appears bringing us back to modern day. Could this be the famed Todd Rundgren motorcycle from the original Bat? Yes, I believe it is. But, who is that riding behind him as it roars in and stops.........................

What a surprise for all, it is Meat Loaf wishing to add his voice to the beautiful ending of the song...

Every voice joins together singing, gentle swaying starts ~

Meat Loaf winks at Sir MMC aware that something very unusual has occurred here. He does not ask the details as it not the time. Instead he joins other voices singing so sublime.

As far as the eye can see~
Those gathered are gently swaying and singing,
"Anything for Love, Anything for Love."

Above the crowd Meat Loaf's unique voice is heard singing the very last line solo three times, " I'd Do Anything for Love, Anything for Love."

:: A burst of soft light! Not hurtful to eyes but
brilliant as if shone thru precious jewels... alive
and moving...various pastel hues interconnect
with scene...

...each atom of radiance... penetrating ... gently
transforming...awe-inspiring change with each
raised voice of song...

... under-current continuum of a revving hum...
it grows ... powerful!... a swishing consolidating
of sub-atomic material... the chorus of song grows
even louder if possible... vibrating limbs and torso...
in waves of ecstatic pleasure ::
