Between those two I would pick Geddy Lee although I would pick John Wetton best over all.

Strange to pair these two guys off against each other. Two different musical styles coming from different approaches and agendas. They are both excellent at their craft.

I Wish people would stop using "better" relating to art.
The OP's question is bizarre in that you couldn't find two more opposite genres to compare.
A lot of people like both for their contributions to music. What matters any more than that?
I think Sting is capable in a lot more styles, though. He is a multi-instrumentalist that has
done stuff in a wider variety of musical styles. While I think he is a pompous blo-hard, he
knows his way around a tune!

Its all good, though, there is no "better".

This thread was inspired by a drive to work where they played "Working Man" and "Spirits in a Material World", and I was diggin it.

Chris Squire and even Greg Lake over Wetton for prog-classic-rock.

I saw Wetton at the prime of his playing days in the late 70's with UK and was not blown away. His vocals were pretty impressive though.

Jack Bruce was always good at singing while he jammed on bass. I like his overlooked work with Trower.
