On apple records the A side is the green apple & the B side is half a apple. The 1969 45 rpm i have has both songs (goodbye & sparrow) with a green apple. For a example of what apple records look like on both the A & B side click the link & scroll down. I have a bunch of Apple records. That must be a mistake. Both sides with the green apple that is. Do you know? SW
Im looking at the record now & both sides have the green apple. On the right side of the record the #1806 is printed. I guess apple made a record printing error in a short period in 69. If this was a beatles record i would have a rare collectable. I also have "Those were the days" single (#1801) in front of me & the B side (turn, turn, turn) is half a apple. Paul Mccartney produced for mary.
I have both singles on vinyl. Loved her romantic, wistful sound.
Man, those really were the days.
I think I was in 9th grade.
I am looking at my singles and am amazed at how many 45s I was still buying back then, it's sort of like downloading singles on i-Tunes instead of buying the whole album.
