I marvel over the years about the discoveries: Susan Boyle, Jackie Evancho and many others. Its interesting and entertaining to here these newly discovered talents. Its also rich to here singing by those mainly known for other prowess. Recently on "You Tube" I heard "What If" I believe from Harry Potter -- not sure -- sung by Kate Winslet and I marvel at her voice. How many more to be discovered?

I really like this kid. He has a developing singing voice very-very similar to Bryan Adams and plays a guitar like Billy Gibbons. All of this at the ripe old age of 14!

Not sure if these are great or not, but here's some different looking singers who got noticed or received awards for their singing. Actually some of them maybe do have great, or pretty good anyway, voices.

Well.

Since you asked, and I presume that you want honest opinions.

They are incredibly "square". White bread through and through. Their a choir, what can I say.

I believe they could use some black folks in there to give them a little soul.

They are quite accomplished at what they do. Lots of hard work, no doubt about that. Just really, really square.

For more singers in "unusual packages", I've found...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99bjInXujdo - Another dwarf musician, kind of soulful.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tG2FvZt2w0 - She has Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, is intersex or hermaphrodite, but she has a rather pretty/feminine jazz voice.

Women With Male DNA All Female - ABC News - More on Eden Atwood, she seems to deem herself more feminine so I'm calling her a she.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HFaP2MQv4c - Had cystic fibrosis.

Default Karen Carpenter

Still after all this time I find Karen Carpenter's voice and her performance of a song among the greatest.

Default Stevie Nicks sound alike?

The voice has some interesting talent. Casey Weston for some reason gave me the same spin it gave Cee Lo. I believe it was Cee Lo. Now look I will be the 1st to state there will probably never be another Stevie Nicks but her rendition in a duet of "Leather and Lace" made me feel I was watching a Mariah Carey singing like Stevie. I Know: "Its just my imagination".
