Hi everyone...I was wondering if anyone wraps gifts here at some local mall or as a funraiser during the holiday season. I have a ton of children's gifts that I need help with. Thanks for the advice on where to go.

Happy Holidays everyone.....Remember HE is the reason for the season and for goodness sakes...GOOD GOLLY BE JOLLY....

Swoozies in the Hill Center will wrap outside gifts complimentary if you buy the supplies in their store. Sm. Box $1.95, Med. Box $2.95, Lg. Box $3.95 plus the cost of the roll of paper you buy.

Hire some neighborhood kids. Im serious. When I was younger I used to love to wrap presents. Still do. Just not in mass quantities.

There are always gift bags. They come in many sizes and it's easy for the gift to be put back in the bag and transported home.

That's what I do.

Funny, one year I have something large to give to my mother. I didn't have a gift bag big enough to hold whatever it was (I've forgotten), so I put it in a green garbage bag (green=Christmas!) and tied it with a red ribbon. A friend of mine is still teasing me about giving a gift to my mom in a Glad bag.

alleycat - green garbage bag - good idea. Some things are so large that they can't be wrapped. I'm sure that she loved the gift.

I used to spend hours and hours bent over the dinning room table wrapping and decorating gifts. My back hurt and my mood was not the best. Now, I use gift bags and my back is fine and my mood is that of the season.

Probably not. I think it was the year I gave her one of those bread making machines. My mother makes homemade sourdough bread; giving her a bread making machine was a little like giving a bottle of Gallo red to a wine snob.

Plus if you have a cat in the house, wrapping presents is nearly impossible. ;-)
