Just for information I would like to know. How much is regular 10-20 gb data with wireless companies with latest phone cost in Nashville?

I am on Verizon and have been since my first cell phone in 2001. Very reliable coverage. There are certainly cheaper options. Below is a link to their plans. NOTE that the page is showing a family plan for FOUR phones so just toggle back to 1 or 2. Looks like 10GB is $65 but UNLIMITED is $70. The website is very user friendly. Keep scrolling for smaller data plans.

Ahhh ok. And i thought Canadian plans are expensive. Here we pay $45-50 for 20 gb data. Phone on financing. And i m talking about Canadian dollars
So basically plans seems expensive in USA. I heard they were cheaper in states.

Did you LOOK at the Verizon website? They have a 15gb Pre Paid plan for $45. Or you can read this article:

Unless you are going to buy the phones from the provider, make sure to check if their network is compatible to your phones if you are going to bring your own from overseas.

When we moved back to the US, we had unlocked phones using GSM. Ended up we could only use AT&T. I believe T-Mobile is also GSM network. Also check if your phones are using the frequency that US is using. I eventually needed to buy a new phone to get the LTE here.

You can check by using your phone's IMEI to see if the provider network is compatible to your phones.

For what it's worth, AT&T told me that my Samsung Galaxy will work just fine in Canada (which it did), as do most iPhones. I imagine the same would be the case coming from Canada to the US. If you don't have a Samsung Galaxy or an iPhone, then you might need to get a whole new phone once in the US. But this is something you should ask your cell phone provider, as apparently it depends on what kind of phone you have and what carrier you've been using in Canada. So don't sell your phones just yet.
