Hi There

I am heading to Nashville and need a place to live that is in walking distance to the Nashville Ballet (3630 Redmon Dr Nashville, TN 37209) as I will be with Nashville Ballet II for 2007/2008. I am looking for ideas and suggestions of where to live, where I can get a part time job, etc. Note - I will not have transportation, so walking distance is perfect or at least on the commuter system) I need to find a place before I come down in June and will remain in Nashville through to next spring, early summer. All recommendations and ideas will be reviewed with the Nashville Ballet administration staff. (Because I am new to the area...)

Thank you...

That's in Sylvan Park. There's a few rentals in that area; but not too many apartment complexes. What's your price range?

I'm not sure what kind of job you're looking for, but there's quite a few restaurants in that general area (Murphy Road, West End), if you wanted to waitress. They are mostly upscale restaurants, so the tips are probably pretty good. There's also some office buildings if you can do clerical work.

I hope to see you at the ballet. I go every so often.

You can also check the Center for Non-profit website (I think that is the name). You can often find part time and temporary work posted there.
