I'm just curious. I was visiting someone in Bellevue recently and noticed a wooded area in the middle of the Riverside subdivision that seemed to have an old ruin of a home or something back there, off Morton Mill Lane near Glenridge Dr. There's no driveway or anything I can see, but it's in some woods surrounded by backyards. Does anyone know the history of that land?

I looked it up. All I can tell is that it's a 3 acre lot owned by the Riverside HOA. From the satellite view, I can see some old structure but the tax recs don't say anything about a structure so it must be from a long time ago.

Thanks. It does look like it's been there a while. Usually a developer won't save a structure unless it's historic, but if it is historic, I would think they'd designate it somehow. I hope someone who knows the history of that side of the county can fill me in!
