Hi all...heading to cave lake for some R&R and was wondering if there were any boat rental places nearby? Also anyone comment how the fishing is?

Unfortunatly, I am unaware of any boat rentals in town. There are a number of restrictions on sizes and motors, I don't think I've every seen anything bigger that about 12-14' long. For the most part, the lake is narrow, so a good caster can usually get to at least the middle with little problem. Fishing is pretty good, mostly stocked rainbow trout, but there are browns in there that can get huge. 20+ lb browns have come out of there in the past. Head into Sportsworld in town for the weekly fishing report for the area's lakes and streams.
