I've used them for cleaning and also an inspection on a home I purchased. Very professional and easy to deal with....

I think you mean to have your septic tank pumped out.

To avoid issues.

Find out where you septic pipes are.
Make sure there are no trees anywhere near those underground pipes.
Find out where your leach field is. Make sure nothing grows there except grass.
If you have a gravity system - feel lucky.
If you have a pump system - then there will be the issue of pump failure at some point.

Some claim that you should not have any kitchen garbage disposer. Not up on that one as I don't have one.

Just note to all that enter your home. Nothing goes down drain or toilet other then water, soap, human waste, and single ply tissue paper.

Too many wrongly put grease down sink. Wrongly put paper towels down toilet. Personal hygiene products should never go down toilet. One Q-Tip can clog all.

Oh nooooo, I have 3 little boys, I can't even think about what went down those pipes in the last two years......

I really do try to be careful to wipe the dishes, etc, but.....now I am "slightly" freaking out....

We used Felix Septic for our home inspection and pump-out / service. They provided good service.

In addition to what has been mentioned above regarding what shouldn't go down the drain... Never, wash paint brushes in the sink. The latex paint residue will clog the drainage system in the leach field (same as grease). Your system will fail over time...
