Can anyone who is more familiar with the general Concord area provide any insight on the Loudon Rd area, specifically around East Side drive? I was considering this location in the Regency Hill estates complex. Anyone live or has previously lived in this community? Thanks for any information.

Loudon Rd. is largely a commercial strip, not very dense and while I'm not an expert, I'd say it was probably zoned/developed in the 50s/60s and hasn't changed much.

It's a bit too sparse to be readily "walkable," [edit walkable in the modern sense of walking for all services - it has sidewalks and can certainly be walked] but the bright side would be that it's not so dense that it's going to be incredibly noisy. Some delivery truck activity and loud truck/motorcycles are likely to be your noise concern.

East Side drive turns quite nice as you move farther west past 202 and out toward the Forest Society (https://www.forestsociety.org/home). But your stretch between Hazen Dr. and Loudon Rd. isn't much to get excited about.

I'd say you're not looking at the nicest part of Concord, but it's nothing I would say to absolutely avoid. I used to bike through there all the time.

It looks like they have 3 buildings in that complex, which I've been past but have never been in or paid much attention to. If you can be in the east or the north bldgs and don't mind some noise filtering over from Loudon Rd. I'd think it would be fine.

I work in the area,

If I was renting and had to be in concord, I would try to be in downtown where its walk-able or somewhere in a larger complex or further out of town. I would have to say, that's probably the last spot in Concord I would want to live. I mean, its not AWFUL, but there are many better places to choose from.

Not a great area to live in.... East side drive after you cross over the highway isn't bad but in between Loudon rd and 393 is not a great area.
