The democratic party is an on-going menace.

These bans are just a feel good measure. Bump stocks greatly reduce accuracy and I doubt most serious gun owners would waste time with them. As usual the New Hampshire legislature demonstrates common sense, especially compared to the knee jerk types that infest the government of our neighbor to the south.

Maybe a moot point for NH now? Looks like our President is going to try and ban them on the federal level.

Saw that earlier today. I'm not a bumpstock user but banning a device because one nut job used it (with no benefit to his attack at all) doesn't sit well, and it will have no effect on crimes committed with firearms, just another one of those feel good actions that accomplish nothing, Trump should know better.

Also, the statement “banning all devices that turn legal weapons into machineguns.” is entirely inaccurate. An AR with a bumpstock is not a machine gun, it is still one trigger pull, one round, it isn't magically converted to an automatic weapon, it just allows for quicker trigger action.

Trump might have to make a few concessions such as bump stocks and tougher screening but I hope he doesn't go to far. The democrats nirvana is seizure of all firearms and they want to start with so called assault weapons,
Florida has already voted against banning them.

The sad thing is its ALWAYS law abiding gun owners who have to make the concessions to the progressives.

If we don't draw a line in the sand soon, we will be in the water wondering where our rights have gone.
