due to health reasons, my dad can no longer go out to restaurants. this is a problem since I was thinking of giving them a gift certificate to one for christmas. My mum suggested maybe a chinese place and she could bring the food home. so...

Any suggestions for decent chinese take-away close to Hollis??

Have you tried www.yelp.com?
I find that website very helpful! Too bad you don't live closer to the Epping NH area, we love the Orient Pearl!

TimeMachine: I've heard about yelp a little, but I've never used it. thanks for reminding me, I'll check it out.

Mac: yeah, I"m sure there are lots around, I just don't know where they are. I mean, there's Panda Wok in Greenville, but while I"ve had some people tell me it was good, others have said it's pretty mediocre. I wouldn't know, I don't care for that style of food.

Yes I have. The skymeadow location is much better than the 101A location. I rarely agree to eating Chinese, but will eat LB's Chinese if that makes sense.
