I have not heard much about these towns, but it appears that they are part of the SAU16 district, which supposedly has good schools.

Are these towns as nice as Exeter/New Market/Portsmouth?

Yeah, these are much nicer than Exeter, Newmarket, and Portsmouth. They are more geared to families-more about family values-less about college and phillips exeter students.

You can actually get a home with some land on it. There are very few (if any) multifamilies unlike Newmarket, Ports., and Exter.

Hi MovingOver. It's a difficult question... "nice" is such a subjective word, and means different things to different people. The towns that you mentioned are much more rural than Portsmouth/Exeter/Newmarket... Nice could mean "great neighborhoods", or "easy access to shopping" or "rolling hills miles away from the hustle and bustle of businesses, etc"

Kingston is part of Sanborn Regional, along with Newton. Except for Rte 125 connecting the two, both towns are somewhat rural, Newmarket operates its own schools, including high school.

The other towns you mentioned are in SAU16, in addition to Newfields, Stratham, and of course Exeter. These towns are mainly rural/suburan. They are very nice,

Portsmouth has become a destination town in the last decade or two, and has a completely different feel from any other place in New Hampshire.
