The commander of the NH Governor's Horse Guards just got back to me with the news that no special permission is required to run horses on NH beaches from October1st through Memorial Day.

Another great place to bring the horses is Salisbury Beach Reservation (Salisbury MA) in the winter months. On any given Sunday, we will see groups of 20+ horses and riders. I don't know who enjoys it more, the horses or the riders or the spectators!
