The Miss America Pageant is returning back to Atlantic City after moving the event to Las Vegas 6 years ago. This is great new for Atlantic City.

I am thrilled!! I worked at Bally's years ago, and back then each casino would get a group of contestants staying there. It really was fun and exciting to have them there, and it did bring more people down to the casinos. I always thought they were stupid to let it go. I will definitely be at the parade!

Yes, she is! All the ones I liked got into top 10! I think a lot of them lost it in talent, some of the singers needed a different talent. Miss Kansas, who I liked, was planning to do archery, but turned out they wouldn't allow it in Boardwalk Hall, so she decided a week in advance to learn an opera song on YouTube.

The parade was fun, but have to plan it better next time, not sure how. We drove to Margate and took the bus into AC, which worked perfectly and only cost $1.50, but soooo much traffic leaving the city afterward that we were on the bus for close to 90 minutes to get back to Margate. Thank God I used the bathroom at the bus terminal, lol, AND that I got a seat. Maybe next year I'll drive to Absecon and take the train.
