Burlington County College and Drexel ...Anyone out there attend BCC and then transfer to Drexel... (Union: co-op)

Can't say I attended but I will be teaching there this semester. I can say the administration has come across as very passionate about their students, and it seems the college has had a lot of money put into it recently. Seemed a bit nicer than Union County College, the only other Community College I've had much experience with.

I am assuming you know that Drexel and BCC recently ended their relationship that allowed BCC students to attend Drexel while staying in NJ. Home | Drexel University at Burlington County College That said, I attended Gloucester County College for a couple years and really liked the school. Very student-friendly and customer-service-oriented, and of course, good faculty. Not too happy that Rowan has taken over the name of the school though! I don't have any personal experience with BCC.

In general, I think it is very smart to accumulate as many inexpensive credits as possible and then transfer. Especially when transferring to a school as expensive as Drexel. Just keep in mind that Drexel's co-op model may mean that your daughter might not start out as a junior, even with a 2-year-degree completed. The co-op programs start early in students' academic careers at Drexel.

Drexel co-op are 5 years program because school is all year round. 2 years of courses that are transferrable to Drexel may equate to more than 2 years of Drexel. Credits are sometimes worth more from outside college. This is why you need a lot more credits to graduate at Drexel.
