Hi,

I am sure this is asked before but I am new to this forum and could not find the answers. So here is my story

I work for a consulting firm and have my client split located at Warren NJ and Philadelphia. I am considering a move to either NJ or Philly but want to make a decision based on good data points. The move is 2-3 months away as I want to put this on my employers radar but only after I have done enough research.

We are a family of 2 school going kids. My job lets me work from home for most days so I dont mind 40 mile commute on each side (to warren or to philly) as we know I wont have to travel for more than 2 weeks in a month.

Our order of priority:
1. Good school districts
2. Plan to buy a house under 400K
3. Some dope on income tax
4. We don't mind country living with acerage if we can get that in our budget.
5. Access to interstates

give us all you can, I have always used all sorts of forums for personal as well as professional gains as I believe there is no alternative to collective wisdom

You can try Princeton, and surrounding area. I have a cousin in West Windsor. The schools are very good there.

Good towns, but they are pretty far from Warren. I think the Princeton/central Jersey-ish area would make more sense.

Trenton suburbs like Hamilton, West Windsor, Ewing, and Bordentown are your best options.

Good Afternoon,

Some of the best places with great schools are within your travel range.
Voorhees, Moorestown, Cherry Hill, and Marlton to name a few.
Since these are all close to the NJ Turnpike and 295 you can get into Warren easily.
Also Philly is roughly a 20 minute commute from these towns.

I am very familiar with those areas so feel free to let me know if you have any additional or specific questions.
Philly has great family fun every weekend aside from it's historic features.
