I was moving to the Princeton area. Would be great if you guys could suggest good jogging trails, maybe 2-3 miles long.
Thanks in advance.

I concure...the tow path along the lake is a favorite of nearly all joggers in the area. Lunch time off comes the bussiness clothes and on go the shorts and sneaks...we'll be looking for you.

Hey Guys,

Saw the D & R Canal website....looked awesome.
Could you also let me know what address do I need to enter at Google maps/mapquest, as I need to map the parking spots for the jogging trails.

Thanks again!

Here goes

Once you zoom in on Princeton, find Washington road and Carnegie Lake.

There's a parking lot there that holds maybe 25 cars.

Harrison Street and the Canal...a small space there...maybe 10 cars

continuing North

Mapleton Rd/Lakeview Terrace also on the Canal side...lot holds about 25 cars

BTW...FYI it's a very safe area...always folks on the path...in 25 yrs I've never heard of any problems etc.

I go from the Harrison St. point north to Kingston and back, check map , you'll see what i mean.
It's a great path..hard packed sandy soil ,tree lined on both sides, easy on the ankles and knees etc...it dosen't get better

Are there any runners groups that do the run every week? Something for the slow and old perhaps?

Check out the aerials of the area at Live Local Search. Use the "Birds Eye" feature.
