I concure...the tow path along the lake is a favorite of nearly all joggers in the area. Lunch time off comes the bussiness clothes and on go the shorts and sneaks...we'll be looking for you.
Saw the D & R Canal website....looked awesome.
Could you also let me know what address do I need to enter at Google maps/mapquest, as I need to map the parking spots for the jogging trails.
Once you zoom in on Princeton, find Washington road and Carnegie Lake.
There's a parking lot there that holds maybe 25 cars.
Harrison Street and the Canal...a small space there...maybe 10 cars
continuing North
Mapleton Rd/Lakeview Terrace also on the Canal side...lot holds about 25 cars
BTW...FYI it's a very safe area...always folks on the path...in 25 yrs I've never heard of any problems etc.
I go from the Harrison St. point north to Kingston and back, check map , you'll see what i mean.
It's a great path..hard packed sandy soil ,tree lined on both sides, easy on the ankles and knees etc...it dosen't get better
